Campaign Index

  • Journal Entries
    • Each log entries will be divided into 2 sub-types; Campaign, and Daily.
      • Campaign Logs
        • Are to bring cohesiveness to the group as well as covering the story and allowing the GM to build off the story based on the experience of the group.
        • A new entry will be added per campaign by the players and the GM
        • Recap what happened from a players prospective during the weekly game sessions
        • Experience/gold will be given based on the detail of the Journal entry ranging from 250 to 1000
          • Be lazy get lazy rewards, do more get more
      • Daily Logs
        • Despite the name, are to be done once per week.
        • They are to describe the actions taken by a player in-between the campaigns
        • This is a players chance to do solo content i.e. Making or commissioning magic items, using craft or profession skills etc.
        • This will also introduce Auto Combat allowing a player if they so choose to do combat instead of other grinds.

    • Auto Combat
      • Single Person Auto Combat
        • Combat done during the posts will be represented by an Auto Combat system; Easy, Normal, Hard, and boss.
          • Easy – Auto combat
            • CR – (-1)
            • Requires 10% HP and use abilities

            • Requires 20% HP and use abilities for melee classes

            • Takes 2 hours to complete

          • Normal – Auto combat

            • CR – (0)
            • Requires 25% HP and use abilities

            • Requires 40% HP and use abilities for melee classes

            • Takes 3 hours to complete

          • Hard – Auto combat

            • CR – (1)
            • Requires 50% HP and use abilities

            • Requires 70% HP and use abilities for melee classes

            • All who participate are fatigued at the end of battle

            • Takes 4 hours to complete

          • Boss – Auto combat

            • CR – (2)
            • Requires 75% HP and use abilities for Caster classes

            • Requires 90% HP and use abilities for melee classes

            • All who participate are exhausted at the end of battle

            • Takes 8 hours to complete

      • Party Auto combat
        • Lower the percentage of use abilities and HP used by (-2%) per level of the helping party members to a max of (-50%)
        • Animal companions, mounts and familiars, count as a party member equal to their HD

        • Summons count as party members only if the duration of the summon equals or exceeds the time it takes to do the auto combat

        • Cannot go beyond 0% used for auto combats

          • 20% – 50% = 0%

      • Use abilities are (assuming they cannot be used unlimitedly):
        • Spells
        • Feats
        • Spell like abilities
        • Extraordinary ability’s
        • Super natural ability’s
        • Scrolls, potions and use per day magical items can be used in place of corresponding abilities
        • All auto combats use are from the base number regardless of remaining score

    Example 1
    Lvl 5 Wizard (16 int) (18 HP) Spells: lvl – 0 (4), lvl – 1 (4), lvl – 2 (3), lvl – 3 (2)
    Simple – auto combat expends – 10% for caster
    The Wizard is left with 16 HP Spells: lvl – 0 (3), lvl – 1, (3) lvl – 2 (2), lvl – 3 (1)
    The Wizard is now unable to do a boss fight as he would not have enough spells left to spend the 75%
    The wizard does a Hard – auto combat – 50%
    The Wizard is left with 7 HP (10% of 18 = 2) – (50% of 18 = 9) = 11 damage taken from combat
    Spells: lvl – 0 (1), lvl – 1, (1) lvl – 2 (0), lvl – 3 (0)
    Without an addition lvl – 2, and lvl – 3 spell the wizard cannot do another auto combat unless he has a lvl 2-3 scroll, potion or other magic item with a lvl – 2 and lvl -3 spell available for use.


    Example 2
    Lvl 5 Wizard (16 int) (18 HP) Spells: lvl – 0 (4), lvl – 1 (4), lvl – 2 (3), lvl – 3 (2)
    Lvl 5 Fighter (16 con) (40) hp
    Party Benefits (lvl 5 wiz + lvl 5 fgt = 10 lvl) – (10x(-2%) = (-20% for party))
    Simple – auto combat expends – 10% for caster – 20% = 0
    Simple – auto combat expends – 20% for melee – 20% = 0
    Both the fighter and the wizard do the Simple Auto Combat and come away with full stats
